You can use the 55mm formula found on the Box Style and Capacities page to determine the finished shutter size and square footage. This will help you pick the method of operation needed. Any of the operation methods are usable with the 1200 series shutter considering you don’t exceed the maximum weight limitations.
The pull strap system can be used up to 17 square feet of the finished size shutter. This shutter can be manually cranked with the use of an assist spring up to 65 sq ft of the finished size, as an example 8’ x 8’.
Any shutter larger than 65 sq ft will require a motorized system. A motor can be added as an option with a shutter of any size. |
